Connections 4 (From The Artwoods to ??????
by Johnnyo
The premise is simple, each album connects to the one next to it in some way and we see where I end up but album 100. An added complication is that I must own the album for it to be included

The leader of Rainbow was Richie Blackmore. Cozy Powell was the only other constant member of the band, who played his last show with them at Castle Donnington in 1980. On the same bill were Judas Priest

This next one is a rather personal connection. I'd love Rory for a great many years and I finally had a ticket to see him play at the end of July 1995 @ the Cambridge Folk Festival. Unfortunately, Rory massed away in June that year so I never got to see him play.
I've seen so many great bands play @ Cambridge over the years but one of the most surreal and amazing performance was by Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds [First added to this chart: 04/17/2021]

Cambridge Folk Festival many years ago. A glorious summer afternoon & about 3 everyone is chilled out, drink is flowing & NC & TBS come on. Now they were an interesting choice for a folk festival anyway & the 1st number went well. For the 2nd number, they played Stagger Lee. After about 30 seconds you could see parents dragging their children away in horror & the stage opened up in front of me & my friends like the sea of Galilee. So we calmly walked down to the front of the stage & had the perfect place from which to witness a brilliant gig. Magical although there might still be parents who are in therapy all these years later.
