Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. Jazzmaaaaan, Can't rate because I've only listened to a couple of albums here but it is nice that some shakes things on the site considering we tend more to rock around here, love Charlie Mingus call me when he is number one
