Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. good list..really appreciate the wide range of taste..I really love "black saint and sinner lady"..one of my favorite jazz albums..they should have a separate jazz chart.

Anyway, You are the only person who thought to put Jeff Beck on thier list. I find that outstanding. Your #'s 31 and 39 are also superb.
