93.27* An ex had this on cassette. I listened to it a few times but was still pig headed in my metal phase to fully appreciate it at the time. Forward many years later when I let my tastes expand and I got a copy of my own. They have a sound all of there own and became an all time favorite. Got better every time I heard it and still does to this day. Track list on this is different to the original copy I have ('Choppers,' & 'Mr Moon', both being two of the better songs missing.) 06/25 [First added to this chart: 10/16/2020]

88.75 So much debate over this album within the 'true metal community' on the merit of it. It became commercial, it introduced a whole new audience to metal, it wasn't as ferocious as there previous work. So because Metallica seemed to of sold out, the hardcore metalers dismissed it. But this is a stone cold great hard rock/metal album. All killer, no filler. Some of the tracks are up there with the best they've done. Worthy of it's place in history, the metal album that woke the musical drones up. Bob Rock sprinkled his production fairy dust on it. The only thing I can fault with this is that it can sound a bit too polished. 03/24 [First added to this chart: 10/16/2020]

88.09* A massively overlooked album. Every song on this is superb. It's one that I always question about being so high in my charts, but then I listen to it and understand why it's there. Title track can bring a tear to the eye. 05/25 [First added to this chart: 10/16/2020]

85.90 A fine debut. An album full of outstanding tracks. 'Black' & 'Jeremy' being two of the greatest songs ever written. This along with 'V's' by far the best albums Pearl Jam made. I am finding however, even though a fantastic album, it's not aging well. Not as timeless as probably once thought. [First added to this chart: 10/16/2020]

85.00 For me, this is the magnum opus of Ozzy's solo career. Consistently great right through with some of the best of his solo tracks. [First added to this chart: 10/16/2020]

83.75 Great that they didn't go down as morose a path with this unlike some of their other albums. Many tracks of a pumping tempo. First two songs on this are killer openers. Puts it up there with the best starters on any album. My favorite Soundgarden album. One of the heavier of the grunge era classics. 11/24 [First added to this chart: 08/08/2024]

80.88 Unique, original. Great heavy groove & funk bass lines. Not my favorite from them but definitely one of the better. Variety of tempo gets a thumbs up. [First added to this chart: 10/16/2020]

80.83 Listened to this after about a 5 year interval and realized how good this actually is. To me, it's like 'Back in Black'. Both are albums full of great songs. But back in the day we were over saturated with it. So this had diminished my overall view on it. It is top heavy but better than I think. Does that make sense? Good. 80.83 I'm not a massive Tom fan so wasn't expecting too much, I thought it would be a majority of filler. How wrong I was. Heaps of good tracks, one that you sort of get swept away with. Thumbs up for this. Thumbs up for Tom 07/24 [First added to this chart: 07/27/2024]

80.62 No disrespect to NoMeansNo but this sort of sounds like Jello just found a substitute Dead Kennedys band to front. The sound doesn't vary from them much at all. Not that that's a bad thing as DK's made no new music after he left. As DK's as you can get without being the DK's. 01/23 [First added to this chart: 10/16/2020]
