Not sure, after 1 listen, if I consider this as good as their debut, but the song writing and the horns are all quite pretty. Not a fan of the vocals. This is a much less "rockin'" album obviously. The horns are consistently nice.

Excellent and expansive double album from one of my favorite bands helmed by one of my fave songwriters? I'll take it 10 out of 10 times. Their least consistent and least emotionally impactful album (for me, anyway) yet, but with some of the coolest ideas and some of the most loose and fun playing they've ever done. My hat is off to this one.

An absolutely beautiful and expansive folk album. The twists and turns and the incredible exploration of sound on this LP is inspiring.

Finally got round to Knoll's new record. It's absolutely insane! After Wormrot, Pharmacist and Days of Desolation I didn't think anything could shock me in 2022 anymore. I was wrong. It's better than the debut if you ask me.

Wow Circles! What a rec, loved it. It usually takes something special for me to love a grindcore album (as opposed to just playing grindcore from time to time for energy boost and vibes), and that's exactly what this album has. The atmosphere is incredible and very unusual for a grindcore album, the performances are insane across the board, the songwriting is ace. Spoken pieces are a nice addition as well. Can only see myself liking this more and more with each listen, right now it's easy top 30 of the year.
