Charli has 53 songs rated 80 or higher on this site. Beyonce has 28. Charli's top 50 songs are a match for any pop artist in terms of innovation. She's worked with all the best producers and popularized a microgenre being the most successful hyperpop artist of all time. It's a shame her most commercially successful songs were earlier in her career, because everything from Pop 2 to present has been a revelation. And honestly her first 2 records are not bad.
Really getting to work with SOPHIE and AG Cook was just an extension of a sound she was doing since her first album.

For the last decade or so, Charli XCX has been reinventing what Pop is supposed to sound like. One of the most consistently brilliant artists of her generation, with an unquantifiable talent for writing the most addictive hooks. Her music has reshaped what British pop stars are capable of, and left an indellible mark on our country's musical canon.
An effortless blend of weird, cool, sexy and spirit. All of her material makes me feel so fucking good. The world without her would be a very boring one indeed.
