What the fuck Kirin. It used to be charismatic and chaotic but in an inspiring, catchy, voluptuous and sexy way. Now this album has only one. One song that matches the original level of songwriting I know Kirin for. That is the track ...In Absolutes, a sort of philosophical ballad in vein of Telling Me This and Bravado, and lines like "only fools dream in absolutes" is an absolute fact. Not as good as the two I mentioned tho. The rest ranges from utter mid to hilariously bad, cluttered synthwork, melodic absence, and surrealistic bankruptcy; all those things that I tried to escape from in pop music by going to his album Bravado (frankly wanna the greatest pop albums ever written and produced) but now he is a sad parody of himself. I believe in Kirin, so there is still a chance he can come back from this.
