The finest thrash album ever? Honestly idk if it's my favourite anymore, there's many great ones to choose from, but anyone who says Rust in Peace earns my respect lol. _________________ Finally updated the overall chart

Album gets played from time to time along w/ Peace Sells when I'm out running/working out. Fabulous album that gets my heart pumping.

My thrash metal stage seems to have come and gone, but this album was almost among the most appealing to me. I still really liked the stuff Megadeth did when they went more mainstream after this album, but this is probably the best showcase for their trademark sound.

Good album, still listen to it occasionally. I might have to give it another listen today after seeing this.

Not exactly my cup of tea -as far as it gets, actually -, but many of my schoolmates were into this kind of music, so I've been exposed to this much more than I'd have liked. Anyway, one has to admit that tracks #1, 2 and 7 are simply legendary. Despite those absurd highs, I 'd rank Peace Sells as the overall slightly better album, more consistent and more accessible.
