That's the side of indie that I like
Thanks Mercury, yeah I'm definitely a fan of the noise rock/ experimental rock. Manson is something of a throw back to my younger years listening to 'portrait' and 'antichrist' gives me a little bit of 15/16 year old nostalgia. As for Waits, Beefheart, and Orbison that would be my Dad's influence from a very early age. I definitely have much more to add to this and will certainly be listening to some 'Gun club' thanks very much for your recommendation.
Nice to see the Trompe love and the great Roy Orbison
Pretty fabulous! I see you like the noisier, more experimental side of indie rock. Butthole surfers are clearly a big fave of yours. Surprised me with the Manson, but that's in a good way. He's a good songwriter. Anywho... I like this a lot. Love the inclusion of beefheart and waits and Orbison (waaaay wasn't seeing that coming). Also I think Vol 4 is my fave Sabbath as well.
All in all. Keep it coming! I love this! Also I recommend highly some Gun Club, the album "Fire of Love" seems up your alley considering your love of Frank Black/Pixies and your love of early delta bluesy Beefheart.
