After listening to their new 2020 album I wanted to listen to the other albums of this band I didn't really know and this is my third one and again it is certainly not a disappointment. I absolutely adore the sweet voice Karen Petis (which sounds a bit like Harriet Wheeler) but the other good thing is the band always finds a way to make the already good (and very soft) songs a little extra by adding some interesting guitar part or some other magical touch. I'm a fan and look forward to hear their other albums as well.

Sounding like a 5 year old kindergartener, Lead Vocalist Karen Petis, brings to mind Sixpence None The Richer vocalist Leigh Nash. Yet while Nash's voice is an acquired taste, Petis ' harmonies with husband/bandmate really work effectively. There will also be comparisons to The Sundays, that will be fitting and appropriate.
This was great. Pleasant, soulful and pretty mellow. Recommend this to Tilly heavily. And to go through 99 with this one first means this will be fun.
