Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)
This album has a Bayesian average rating of 47.6/100, a mean average of 45.4/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 45.4/100. The standard deviation for this album is 25.3.

The Green Day legacy was franked with a superb 6 album run than began with 1994's 'Dookie' (5 Stars) followed by the good threesome of 'Insomniac' 1995 , 'Nimrod' 1997 and 'Warning' 2000. Then seemingly out of no where they would release their masterpiece 'American Idiot' (5 Stars) followed by the under rated '21st Century Breakdown' AKA "American Idiot Mark II" , then things fell off the rails in a big way. 'Uno' , 'Dos' , 'Tre' - Woof x 3 , 'Radio Revolution' was simply awful which brings us to 2020's 'Father Of All ...' which may well be the worst of the lot and trust me the bar has been set very low on the previous 4 albums
My biggest beef with this album ( apart from the songs lacking any substance) is the flagrant plagiarism of other artists tracks
"Stab You in the Heart" - ripped off from "Hippy Hippy Shake" (written and recorded by Chan Romero in 1959 and most famously covered by The Beatles)
"Oh Yeah" is virtually Gary Glitters (Boo) "Do You Want to Touch Me"
"Graffitia" is simply "Mony Mony" ( Tommy James and the Shondells / Billy Idol)
And yeah unfortunately Green Day have history ripping rips off - "Warning" = "Picture Book" (The Kinks) , "Brainstew" = "25 or 6-4"(Chicago) , "Hold On" = "I Should Have Known Better" (The Beatles)
Put simply the only thing worse than bad music is bad music stolen from other artists
Late career Green Day mimics late career Weezer with stinker album after stinker album each worse than the previous. Its been 11 years since this group released a half decent album - 11 years !!!!
The 'Teal Album' was where I gave up on Weezer
Officially this is where I give up on Green Day , like a once loving marriage gone sour I'm done

I've been listening to Green Day since Dookie came out, and I like this album. It's easily the poppiest record they've done, but I don't understand why everyone hates it so much? They don't care about critics anymore, they're one of the biggest rock bands of the last couple decades, they're allowed to do whatever they want, and I'm sure that's a fun spot to be in, which comes across on the album. Was anyone really expecting another Dookie or American Idiot? I sure wasn't, this has exceeded my expectations, TBH. Don't believe the negative reviews, this is a fun pop rock album, give it a try.
It's only February and we already have the worst album of the decade. Thanks, Green Day!
You know, this album really could've used some features, some Swedish songwriters, and some trap beats.
Awful. Just awful. Please stop.
