Takes me closer to God, Mercury. I mean who needs video when you have something this cinemagic. I mean I see everything. It's like hovering in the air in my own personal helicopter taking in the post-apocalyptic terrain below me. You know those contemplative scenes shot in beautiful black & white in indie movies of footage shot from a moving car that just leave you with a sense of peace. Like you're in no particular hurry for the plot to evolve because a little sliver of peace & stillness has entered your life. It's like that. Easily one of the best post-rock albums I've ever heard. It just sounds so alive and natural. Like it's this living, breathing sentient organism that's sharing something truthful and and really basic and beautiful with you.
