New Moon

"Whether or not this is a bunch of old outtakes or unfinished tracks doesn't really make a difference to my ears. Elliott’s masterful and seemingly effortless songwriting shines through often without much instrumental backing other than a clean acoustic guitar. It's not lo-fi like Roman Candle or ..."  [+]  Reply

"It was always Billy Braggs laconic singing voice that attracted me to his music. Hard to describe this album he is a folk rock punk protest singer with heart, intelligence and humour. One of Britains great performers an original album also"  Reply

"Definitely the high point of what I have heard from them so far. Some singles strike you with their song writing chops. More hooks than a locker room. No nonsense simple, easy, well put together guitar music. See the cover? Just the guys standing there? Yeah, that is all they need. No tricks, jus..."  [+]  Reply

"To quote someone on Reddit, "The Van Morrison of the Twitter age". And to quote Pitchfork, "Everything feels silvery and romantic, like a hallucination of the classic-rock songbook". Honestly I'm adoring this album, it's already in my top 5 for the year so far. I just can't stop listening to "Bel..."  [+]  Reply

"This should've been Bloc Party's follow-up to "Silent Alarm". This is a fun, new-wavey at times, almost dance-punkish at times, party album with some serious undertones ("four horsemen of 2012" anyone?), underscored by two dance floor ravers "golden skans" and "gravity's rainbow"."  Reply

"A forgotten prog gem that I believe sits along prog classics like In The Court Of The Crimson King, and Close to the Edge. The album is two side long tracks of psychedelic, funky goodness. A very under appreciated album."  Reply

"I just don't understand how people have not acknowledged this album for all its dreamy, heavy, shoegazing beauty. Just a great outing by three superb musicians. Check out Subzero Fun, Turnstile Blues, Blanket, Sugarless"  Reply

"The first half of the album feels so perfect that as some people would say "it insists upon itself". However, from track six the vibe of the album is a bit deeper and you can sense a sort of soul out there that make it, all in all, a fair album. Invisible is a standout here..."  Reply
