An amazing discography. I was really, really into him in high school, into every single album he put out as well as New Moon. The top three are definitely Either/Or, XO, and his self-titled. Hard for me to choose an order. (Edited)

Does anyone else think he listened to a bunch of Big Star as a kid? (Edited)
Not one bad song, I used to listen to him a lot back a year ago. They're coming out with a 'best of' album that looks pretty good.
More than simply good meloncholy acoustic music, Elliott Smith had a real unique gift for songwriting. (Edited)
