"One of the top Canadian solo artists! This album was written back when he was known as Matthew Good Band, and is probably their best album until the band broke up in 2001. From start to finish, this album is a knockout, starting with the smash hit openers Giant, Hello Time Bomb, Strange Days, the..."  [+]  Reply

"Not as good as In My Tribe but still a great album. I saw them live in Edinburgh Queens Hall on the tour promoting this and at the end Rob Buck threw his plectrum into the crowd and it hit me in the face and fell to the ground. I stayed standing still where I was until the lights came on and the ..."  [+]  Reply

"A really beautiful album beginning to end. A powerful return for The Chicks, and Jack Antonoff did a great job producing it. Especially love March March and Young Man."  Reply

"An average record once you look past the terrible lead single that is eez-eh, which is annoyingly catchy in the worst way. The lyrics almost border on laughable, no hardcore Kasabian fan can look me in the eye and tell me that 'the wrong men have the power, it's turning my milk sour' and 'every d..."  [+]  Reply

"A very good debut album. Some people call it "Britpop," and while it has some elements of that, it really feels more like it's influenced by "The La's." It doesn't quite have the songwriting strength of Barlow, but it is varied and takes risks that "Take that" would never take. 9/10!"  Reply

"A fresh and lovely album full of excellent ambitious songs, delivered in a bombast that suits the music perfectly. Some brilliant tracks in, made up love song, trains to Brazil, and, Sao Paulo. Guillemots made some good records after this but none come close to the beauty and invention of this al..."  [+]  Reply

"One of the great Southern Rock albums and one of the great debut albums in any genre. Every cut is worthwhile and most really shine. Green Grass and High Tides is the enduring Southern Rock epic, right up there with Free Bird and There Goes Another Love Song was a radio hit, but the rest of the a..."  [+]  Reply
