"The Cardiacs most fluent album. Every song flows nicely from the previous and the classic line-up were probably at their best live around this time. No real week songs and a number of live favourites such as Roger the Horse and Arnald. However, the real stand out moments are Buds and Spawn and th..."  [+]  Reply

"As an album that is described to be "curated by Kendrick Lamar", it's not surprising that nearly all the best tracks feature him. ("All the Stars", "King's Dead", "Big Shot", etc.) These songs really are enjoyable, and wouldn't even look out of place on an official Kendrick LP. There are a few th..."  [+]  Reply

"(Sublime set of Chamber Folk from Pakistan - I mean she is in the states ((I think)) now and has been for awhile but the sounds are a mix of Middle Eastern music and balladry with Chamber Folk and Classical - that is absolutely mesmerizing and brilliant.) Been trying to find the words to express ..."  [+]  Reply

"Yellow Moon is a good, listenable record. "With God On Our Side" makes it worth having alone, but there are good songs, vocals and playing throughout. About as good as The Neville's get."  Reply

"Despite being early in his career, this is an outstanding outing led by Horace Silver who would go on to greater fame without the Jazz Messengers. Art Blakey, who would take over the Jazz Messengers after Silver's departure, is, as always, exceptional on the drum kit. With Kenny Dorham on trumpet..."  [+]  Reply

"A great collection of quality songs, only the production grinds a little, the Marr, Glenister guitars in Smith's mode after a while begin to irritate. Fifteen minutes is brilliantly observed as are many tracks, perfect pop song writing with the Kristy edge."  Reply
