"Not a mind-blowing record but I'll take whatever pop music that's as tasteful, mature and catchy as this." Reply
"The length really hurts this album, when it used to be one of the strong points of Dream Theater. I mean, I appreciate the effort, but it's like they wanted to achieve another Scenes from a Memory, in this era of the band. And it really makes you uncomfortable..." Reply
"Minnie Riperton is, sadly, a largely forgotten ´musical angel´. A very good album by the late starlet whose life and career was so tragically curtailed by fatal illness. Lovin´ You is one of the most beautiful Soul ballads ever recorded," Reply
"Simple Minds are so uncool I am probably setting myself up with this one, but when it came out it was so fresh and different. Even the band admit that this was much more exciting than the stadium sounds that made them millions." Reply
"This is one of those oft-forgotten alt-rock 90s albums which blend catchy instrumentation and hooks for an album which should be vying for most people's 90s top 100. The album is often thrown away as a one-song wonder ("closing time"), but that's not the case. It's a solid album throughout." Reply

"Olde-style country paens to The Lord. You either get this stuff or you don't. Whichever way you feel Willie definitely paints a vivid picture of this world. Personally I think it's beautiful." Reply

"Another good Eels album although it frustrates me slightly with two of my least favourite tracks Lone Wolf and Agony. I think it would have been better without them. Flipside is it has some great tracks which could have, or in the case of Saturday Morning, should have, been commercial successes. ..." [+] Reply
