"Great debut with plenty of big hits on it. This is fun and catchy rock and roll that doesn't require a lot of thought to be able to enjoy. CC Deville's guitar playing sets the tone. Talk Dirty To Me sounds like it could be a New York Dolls song."  Reply

"Great album. More traditional metal verging on thrash. Where they had established themselves with constant heavy rhythms with melody. But fucking grunty melody. Top effort"  Reply

"It might not be the most incredible music or lyrics ever, but this is an album that contains some real emotion and is one of the most consistent I have ever heard. Brings back lots of good memories..."  Reply

"I feel like this album is their most under-rated, despite mixed to positive reviews. This is their attempt to step out of their comfort zone a little from making ballads that can be summed up by their singles to, not only retaining that formula but, to expand upon it into an interesting experimen..."  [+]  Reply

"Along with the Real New Fall LP this is another milestone of the '00's for the Fall. The first five tracks are right on the money and as good a start as almost any other Fall album. Things do tend to tail off somewhat in the second half but Dr Bucks' Letter is up there with Blindness and Theme Fr..."  [+]  Reply
