"Few could have imagined that Quo would one day become one of England's most long-lived rock bands when they released their debut. Nor is the music close to the genre they would be known for. However, the album contains some interesting songs such as Technicolor Dreams and Ice in the Sun. Pictures..."  [+]  Reply

"Originally a German import from Rough Trade minus the Destroy the Heart ep, this is still an awe inspiring collection showcasing just how brilliant Chadwick & co. were in the early days."  Reply

"Hugo Largo are an ensemble who fuse classical music to British dream-pop. More precisely, the music on 'Drum' can be defined as a meeting of ecstatic acid-rock and austere chamber music. This austere and mezmerizing music is enhanced by the ethereal vocals of singer and performance artist Mimi Go..."  [+]  Reply

"Maybe not the "return to form" I was sort of hoping for, but Neil Young's return to Crazy Horse after a 7 year absence still has its moments. I prefer the glimpses at the Crazy Horse of old over the more mellow tracks, with the exception of Green is Blue which is one of the more impressive songs...."  [+]  Reply

"Jack Bruce has never got the recognition he deserves in rock history! The bassplayer from Cream had classical background,a stylist on bass, but a multiinstrumentalist as well. His albumdebut on his own beat all the Cream music by miles, setting a new standard touching jazz, blues, ballads and roc..."  [+]  Reply

"More chill out sounds from Cale. Grasshopper, features some good cuts in, city girls, devil in disguise, you keep me hanging on, and, one step ahead of the blues. Nice for summer."  Reply

"This is my least favourite of their proper albums (I don't count the King as a proper album) as there is too much low-key ballads and not enough up-tempo. Also, the lead single, Baby Lee, while joyously catchy, does have quite the creepy incel stalker aspect to the lyrics which is unfortunate. No..."  [+]  Reply
