Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. This is my least favourite of their proper albums (I don't count the King as a proper album) as there is too much low-key ballads and not enough up-tempo. Also, the lead single, Baby Lee, while joyously catchy, does have quite the creepy incel stalker aspect to the lyrics which is unfortunate. Norman apparently wrote the song as part of an amateur song-writing workshop he was teaching so maybe that explains it.
