"This is it folks!..The one-place stop for all-good James Brown quickness! No other compilation is as good for the price and it's got all the early hits. Everything is great by this artist but when you want brevity this is where to go! Live at the Apollo is his absolute best work but that's just f..."  [+]  Reply

"This album is absolutely amazing. I discovered it by accident while searching “Paul McCartney & Michael Jackson” on Apple Music, and the song Michael Jackson from this album came up. I love experimental music and this album is pure madness. I think it deserves a higher ranking though I understand..."  [+]  Reply

"So it's been about a year since my first comment, and I have to say that my appreciation for this album just kept growing stronger to the point that I now have it in my top 20 and as the top rated yugoslavian album (I think at the time of my first entry it just gained the chart entry at the last ..."  [+]  Reply

"Few could have imagined that Quo would one day become one of England's most long-lived rock bands when they released their debut. Nor is the music close to the genre they would be known for. However, the album contains some interesting songs such as Technicolor Dreams and Ice in the Sun. Pictures..."  [+]  Reply

"This is my least favourite of their proper albums (I don't count the King as a proper album) as there is too much low-key ballads and not enough up-tempo. Also, the lead single, Baby Lee, while joyously catchy, does have quite the creepy incel stalker aspect to the lyrics which is unfortunate. No..."  [+]  Reply

"I think the great thing about this album is the way they captured a specific global sentiment of what Hispanic/Latino culture had in common. It is in a way a concept album."  Reply

"Sting takes some big chances on Brand New Day. Older acts that attempt to fit into popular music rarely succeed but Sting's fame rose from the singles here for a couple years. It's a very uneven album in quality and sound. Sting tackles Bossa Nova, Eastern Influence, and country to varying degree..."  [+]  Reply

"Another fine Best Of. Their earlier albums aren'ttrong, and not always easy to find. Much better than the Greatest Hits that came out later...this one has most of the Guess Who you'll ever need. And Burton Cummings has a GREAT rock & roll voice!"  Reply
