Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. Lovely band here to make lovely chill music. Loved these guys when I was younger. However it is safe music hence why they don't get a higher rating. They are still a nice listen though, but not very challenging.

Wow... remember the fuss about these guys? Now they get lost in the Coldplay/Keane post-Radiohead mess of bands. It's a shame - they're better than most of their peers.
Travis is just a special type of bands you don't see them topping charts selling albums or even noticed by critics but they make a very very good music.... and that's the point music should be enjoyed not sold ... I've listned to all of their albums , I found that Travis don't tend to catchy songs or complex songs just simple pretty lovely songs.
A great debut from Travis with The Man Who, with a few great tracks. Sadly they seemed to peter off and failed to capture my attention with any of their follow ups.
