"The link between jazz and hip hop has always been there, but this is the album where Miles directly hands off the baton from jazz to hip hop. There ought to be way more mergers between hip hop and jazz beyond samples. The framework for it is right here." Reply
"So I swear I had this mix that was the best songs of Ferocious Mopes and Impeccable Blahs and I thought they were a legit release, but must've been a "mix tape" a friend gave me. Songs worth listening to: Snowcones and Puppies Sad, But Endearingly So Angles and Darlas" Reply
