It went negative. Somehow, it had the second lowest score after WoD.

In a way, it's nice to think BEA isn't as predictable as people were starting to suggest. _________________

With a 25-point cutoff, technically an album can make the list with only one vote. Next year, I may drop the maximum points per album to encourage people to split up their votes more.

I don't think the points are the problem. Once we get more people to participate, it'll level off a bit. My theory is that if someone's willing to sacrifice all of their points to max out a single album, than they must really love it.
the top 40 is really a respectable list, even without Benji. I love the top 10. _________________ http://jonnyleather.com

I'll say. If I'm reading this right that means ...
No Ty Segall. No Mac DeMarco. & No St. Vincent. That just seems... weird to me. Those are all well loved albums on here.

I think the most surprising omission is Perfume Genius's Too Bright... BEA loved that album from what I could tell. Caribou's album missing is also odd. _________________ Submit Your List for BEA's 2023 Film Poll!
