New Ruby Yacht (R.A.P. Ferreira [FKA Milo], sb the moor [FKA Signor Benedick the moor], Pink Navel, ELDON, and s.Al [FKA Safari Al]) is an AOTY contender, been out for 105 minutes, it's a little inconsistent but honestly that many separate folx works together better than I expected _________________

I think this is the first day this year where I've looked at all the albums that just dropped and thought "I can't listen to all of these today"... Just so much great stuff! Hval, JPEGMAFIA, Chelsea Wolfe, Charli XCX, Alex G, Alex Cameron, even bloody Pixies... _________________ Finally updated the overall chart
I'm not usually one sold on remixes, but Clarence Clarity did a pretty solid rework of Gone early last month. I think Charli XCX has ended up with a handful of remixed tracks that are better than her originals in the last few years... helps that she's pretty ace attracting Brit producers like mad, I think she's staying open minded with near anything. Surprised Arca didn't show up on her latest.
Charli's a solid pop record. Bangers all over. It's spotty here and there, but it's nice to hear something mainstream with such a forward thinking lean. PC Music's influence seeping through everything might become apparent come the early 2020's.
Only got around to Alex G and Peggy so far, both are in my top 10 of the year now. I think for both artists these are their best releases thus far. Alex G's album is my favorite of the two, it's honestly an AOTY contender for me. _________________ Griselda, by Fashion Rebels 2020's Hip-Hop 2020's Country
Listened to Hval and Peggy yesterday, Hval’s may be her best one yet. The only downside is the length, it could be a bit longer since it’s a pretty atmospheric album. Didn’t really like JPEGMAFIA’s new one, but I disliked Veteran on the first listen too and it’s in my top 15 of 2018 now... _________________ Finally updated the overall chart
An album that was drowned in all the high profile releases on 13th of September, but it's very much worth your time. Mike shows what an amazing and versatile artist he is yet again with a great chanson-like pop rock opera. There's jazz here, there's avant-garde, there's a lot of French music influences and the most important of all, it's just as good as it's quirky and weird. _________________ Finally updated the overall chart
