Anyways I don't have too many specific reccomendations prbly because I'm a misogynist, but I guess here are top choices from each year that maybe haven't been mentioned

definitely have to second revolver's rec for this one, my favorite this decade.
Absolutely loving Thad's suggestions - just thought I'd add a few personal faves to the one's that have already been mentioned (Blood Bitch and Caligula)

Sorry guess I need to leave a sarcasm trigger warning these days

Pretty sure Thad's reaction was more about this than it was about not getting sarcasm. _________________ Add me on RYM
Everything by Azealia Banks is great; I'd say start with her 1991 EP.
Absolutely LOVE Uffie, but it's not for everyone.
Tove Lo's Blue Lips is a classic.
Little Boots has released some great albums and EPs last decade; Nocturnes for instance.
Annie has made great cheesy stuff: The A&R EP is awesome.
Veronica Maggio's Satan I gatan (swedish) is great.
I actually like Carly Rae Jepsen's Tug On War the most, don't get the hype with E-Motion or however she splits it.
Ariana Grande is probably the most consistent artist of the '10s; I love Sweetener the most.
Doja Cat's first album Amala is great.
Junglepussy, my god how could I forget her (going down my list of artists I follow on Spotify right now); Satisfaction Guaranteed's got some of the best verses of the '10s.
Actually love Miley Cyrus' Bangerz, you might look at it differently now, if you hated it then because of the hype or whatever.
MNDR is a fun, quirky artist whose album Feed Me Diamonds has some great tracks on it.
Róisín Murphy's Hairless Toys is great for whoever loves strange shit.
Sky Ferreira has made some of the best aesthetically sad music this decade; love her Ghost EP.

I can understand any of her other three albums (or the side B EP) being someone's favorite, but Tug Of War is baffling. _________________ Add me on RYM

Why do you look down on things? On Tug of War she's cringy, but she's real. Her style there is Taylor Swift's first album and '00s adult contemporary, but it just fits her. Jepsen ain't a genius, Tug of War is a 7/10 in my book too, but it's just more genuine.
E-Mo-Tion is overproduced and goes all the way for late '70s/early '80s nostalgia, even Chromeo is less obvious. And her songwriting and vocals sound like every Kylie Minogue song from the '00s, which y'all have never listened to probably. Look, here's the problem with hypes like E-Mo-Tion: they strike me as highly random because I actually listen quite a lot of music from female pop stars, 'cause I don't look down on that. And then ten years later someone comes with exactly the same style and suddenly it's nostalgic and "pop-escapism". Somehow you can only be cringy if it's nostalgia or ironic in some way. Well, I like shit that's just cringy as long as it's real.
And if you try to come back with "I know Kylie Minogue's music quite well", how do you not hear E-Mo-Tion is extremely derivative then.
