Lord knows we needed to have a little fun this year, and Kornél Kovács received the message. On first listen, it’s just pleasant dance music, but subsequent listens have led me to find these hidden musical references and clever little deviations from the four-to-the-floor template.
Best track: BB. For some reason this reminds me of Actress’ Ghettoville, I guess because in both works the samples are so prominent while sounding totally different from the source tracks.
