Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)
This album has a Bayesian average rating of 63.0/100, a mean average of 62.5/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 62.5/100. The standard deviation for this album is 20.9.

Big Green Day fan but honestly never listened to this one. I thought it was among their best. Rating (82.08)
A much-needed improvement on the sub-par at best trilogy,Revolution Radio delivers with some true gems among Green Day's discography, such as "Bang Bang" and "Forever Now." Although some songs are merely decent, and one is actively bad (I'm looking at you, "Youngblood"), the album as a whole is elevated by its often-introspective lyrics and the instrumentals.
in the words of LL Cool J "Don't call it a comeback" because it's not it's just alright and definitely not a return to the glory days of the mid 90s to the early 200s

Feeling meh about this album. This felt quite repetitive for me to listen and sometimes I feel like I've heard something like this before. All I just feel is just meh. I'm sure if you're a major fan you would like it, but someone else I don't know...
Not bad, I really liked Tré, but this is fan too, maybe it has even more variety. Fav tracks: Still Breathing, Forever Now and Ordinary World.
Green Day have recorded one of its best LP. Revolution Radio quickly is the best review (3.5/4) since 2004's American Idiot. Lyrically is pure gold how Armstrong describes de 21st Century ("We will be seen but not be heard" "It's more like a World War Zero" "Sound of the disturbed)and musically they returned what they have done best. Is definetly one of the best albums of the year and of the 2010`s.
Although the song writing is (for the most part) more bearable than the trilogy of abysmal albums that they released in 2012, there are still many many hang-ups here. The instrumentation may sound more "raw" than it has from Green Day in the last decade, but the vocals still sound over produced which makes this album still feel a little robotic and lifeless. Lyrically, it can be flat out cringy at times (look to the song "Youngblood" for a solid 2 and a half minute example). In the end, it just feels like Green Day has nothing left to write about.

A return to form for Green Day.
Whatever expectations I had from the album, it very conveniently exceeded them.
