When you get a good few listens of these tunes, let them settle with you, see some of them played live a few times, you realise you still love the fanclub as much as you always have. Don't ever stop guys.

A welcome return to form after the boring ballads of Shadows, although some of the Raymond songs are a bit weedy. But lots of the tracks are rocking with some really catchy hooks and wouldn't be out of place on Songs From Northern Britain.

E' il solito pop dei Teenage Fanclub, apparentemente lo-fi ed invece molto curato, con qualche angolo smussato rispetto ai dischi degli anni novanta ma pure con un senso della melodia anche superiore.
