I've been listening to Obscura since a year or so since this album came out. I can confidently say that this is their best release as of July 2018 (just after Diluvium released).
I prefer tech death over prog death, so maybe that's why this is my favorite, but the songs I like the most on this album seem to be the more proggy ones. Celestial Spheres, Septuigant, Vortex Omnivium, and Euclidean Elements are among my favorite songs in their entire discography.
There are plenty of band I prefer to Obscura (gotta mention Archspire and Mordant Rapture), but this album stands up to most others I love. Diluvium is pretty great, but I'm giving that an 80/100 while giving this a 85/100. They are both great albums, but this one just barely gets the edge for both overall composition and re-listenability (is that a word? The ability to return to it and like it as much).
