I pretty much had 'Apocalipstick' on my best album list for 2017 for most of the year , however a re-listen in 2018 has made me re-evaluate things - its definitely not as good as I thought it was was
Single "Told You I'd Be With The Boys" is great as is track 9 "Nurse Ratched" the rest sounds rather derivative with that high harmony female vocal I personally find completely irritating

If all the songs were as great as Told You I'd Be With The Guys I would have rated this an 8 or higher. Still good though and worth a listen

this album shows alot of growth since their last one. I'm excited to see what Cherry Glazerr does next.

Sometimes, it comes off as too exhaustive. It is extremely high energy but it never changes pace, save for one track ("Nuclear Bomb"). The tracks are all great, but as an album it feels too generic overall. I'm excited for what Cherry Glazerr will do next. They're going to be a really fun band to follow and I believe they have a ton of potential, which they showed on Apocalipstick.
