So Lo-fi it could be rubbish (and sometimes nearly is as in Honor Guards) but in fact it adds to the general fantastic atmosphere in jangly tracks like A Walk Accross The Human Bridge and the Lennonesque When I Was A Boy. And that is not even counting the highlight You Fall I Fall.
The best GBV album was not made by Robert Pollard this year.
