A bit like a softer version Teenage Fanclub or Big Star but nevertheless highly original and catchy as hell with especially Two Arrows as just great.

If you're into the lackadaisical aesthetic of Real Estate, this won't disappoint. If nothing, I do appreciate that this is a little more alive than Atlas--which I wanted to like, but couldn't.
In Mind is no different to the first few Real Estate albums. I enjoyed Darling and Stained Glass as singles but the rest of the LP doesn't do enough for me. Nice set of jangly guitar lead cuts, but with few memorable moments. On every effort it feels like the band is always on the verge of doing something great, in each song it feels like a great hook or chorus is coming, but it always peters out. In essence, this album and Real Estate in general, is just sensationally OK because they fail to push boundaries.

It starts to lose is heat near the end, but Real Estate still knows how to make some jangly tunes!

It's a good album - the first 2-3 tracks are excellent but falls into a comfort zone from there on that it never really recovers from... Not their best (IMO) but very much worth it if you already like them.
Pop grácil y ligero, con un toque elegante, pero con escasa originalidad, desprendiendo una sensación de que lo que se oye está ya muy oído. Pasable.

Only listened twice so far so maybe I'm being too quick to judge, but this seems like a significant step back from Atlas. Just doesn't have the same hooks and vibrant melodies as their previous albums overall. They stick to their sound which I do love, but it's starting to seem a bit played unfortunately. Going to give it a couple more listens and hope my opinion changes but I'm not holding my breath.
