How have I not rated this? Anyway, this rules. Gang of Youths unstoppable.
A fantastic album that really allows its songs to breathe and gives us just the right amount of time to admire and adore them. This is really helped by the instrumental tracks which are so beautiful and provide such an amazing introduction to the next song. This makes the record feel grand and important and then when the song that follows this build up is just as fantastic it really gives you a sense of fulfilment and joy. They really know how to make an album with a genius track layout that keeps you guessing and thoroughly entertained throughout. Instrumentally, it is a marvel with every performance blowing me away. There is no instrumental weak link on here either with every member being a crucial part to the beauty they create. The lyrics are simply phenomenal as well and it is well worth following along with the words as you go through because you will be stunned by the quality. Furthermore, the vocal suits this style of music perfectly and binds the whole record together making it feel cohesive and complete. Overall, a stunning record full of impressive music and loads to explore on future relistens which makes me excited to revisit this record.
Needs more recognition, amazing album!

Wow, it is really difficult to make an album this long that does not get you bored. This guys are awesome, and this album is top 10 of 2017 without a doubt.

Gang Of Youths “ Go Farther In Light” ! . Incredible album from wire to wire and is destined to stand the test of time as an all time classic. Deep sad thoughtful lyrics and not a single filler moment. “ Don’t Let Your Spirit Wane “ is worth the price of admission on its own. Gang Of Youths came so close to AOTY in 2015 , take a bow boys 2017 is your year . If you haven’t heard this masterpiece please please please do yourself a favour.
