Solid album, the Manics keep doing what they do.
That said, Dylan and Caitlin might well be my least favorite song in their discography, whew.

And so the Manics continue to make great albums. Lung-busting anthems (International Blue), songs that champion fighting in the face of adversity (Liverpool Revisited), and music that swells and surges with every emotion the lyrics evoke (Distant Colours), this is a welcome return to the big music of Motorcycle Emptiness and A Design For Life.
The heart to Futurism’s brain, Resistance Is Futile is more than anyone could expect from a band this late into their career. It is brilliant.
