It's nice to know this kind of indie-pop hasn't died out, even if it is delivered in the form of sarcastic synth-pop with a nice line in disturbing but blackly comic lyrics, not forgetting the surreal, Hawaiian lounge-pop theme floating around capturing the Trainspotting/junkie vibe spot on.
Right now, only the (re-invigorated) MGMT are giving these guys competition for this kind of thing and that's a good thing.
