This is so fucking smooth. The jazz-infused, often funky organic production is really fantastic; drums, bass, keys, guitar and even trumpet are lavishly, and perfectly spread across this album. The bass guitar shines so much through this record you'd be surprised Thundercat isn't a collaborator. Whilst production is certainly the record's greatest strength, Black Milk's rapping is certainly no weakness, and he consistently delivers strong and appropriately fitting verses, whilst still letting the beat take the front seat. One of the most beautifully produced records of the year.
