Cresting on the Amy Winehouse nostalgia train, Chicago based gritty blue-eyed soul singer Haley Reinhart released this sixties dedicated dozen tracks on Concord Records, (Cat#: CRE00540) where she belts in the best sandpaper enhanced vocals this side of Winehouse. Reinhart infuses each song with energy and spunk, the highlights include a cover of "Baby It's You" and a mellow "Can't Find My Way Home". She also co-composes three sixties styled originals that mix appropriately with the covers. She is supported by guest musicians Scott Bradlee and Casey Abrams, as well supported by her guitar strumming father and background vocalist mother. A true highlight of 2017 if you're looking for a throwback disc. Authenticated on discogs.com
