Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. Vaguely interesting as a post-millennial Daniel Johnston riff, with some semi-decent experimentation, and some fleeting whiffs of heart, but nothing much beyond that. It's underwritten and totally static.
