Amazing guitar album, the deluxe Editions are even better with bonus track "Shapes of Things"

Considered by many to be The Yardbirds' best, whether it is or is not true, hardly matters. It's good. That's all that really matters.

Side one, the studio set, (the first six tracks) is as good as any British invasion of its time, including the Beatles. Heart Full of Soul is for my money their best track ever. Side two (starting with Smokestack Lightning) is live tracks, really good garage band blues. If I find this album on Vinyl, I'd probably play side one a lot more often.
