Danielle Bregoli, a.k.a "Cash Me Ousside girl", rose to fame at age 13 from a Dr Phil clip that went viral. Her 15 minutes of fame were supposed to be just that, however miraculously here we are, with Danielle a.k.a "Bhad Bhabie" releasing her first rap record. Sure, it sounds like fun novelty at best and extremely moronic at worst, but "15" bypasses all that because young Danielle has flow and can actually spit bars pretty well (probably from a lifetime of listening to rap music; this also explains the AAVE-esque accent) and the production is just as good here as all the other trap-rappers topping the charts, which granted, isn't difficult to achieve considering the resources she'd have from her multi-million dollar record deal with Atlantic Records.

There are a lot of undeniable bangers on this record, the solid features help people take Bhad Bhabie's output a lot more seriously and the braggadocious attitude suits her well and is a natural extension of her bratty, rebellious personality on the Dr Phil show. This all culminates with the best track here, "Bhad Bhabie Story", an outro running almost 7 minutes long chronicling her meteoric rise to fame from meme to rap star and all the shit going on behind the scenes in her life. It's a fascinating conclusion to a highly engaging album. Don't think too hard and you may just enjoy this one quite a lot.

Danielle Bregoli's astronomical journey from Dr. Phil meme to legitimate rap star with a multi-million dollar record deal is, for better or worse, the perfect encapsulation of the modern-day american dream and has been thrilling to witness. So what about this mixtape then?

Granted, her voice is ultimately a bit like marmite (you love it or you hate it) but once you get past the squeakiness there's definitely a lot to enjoy. She has impressive flow (probably from a lifetime of listening to hip-hop) and can not only stand her own but has exceeded a huge % of trap rappers in terms of putting out quality bangers, i mean Billboard Hot 100 Singles "Hi Bich" and "Gucci Flip Flops" (backed by first-rate music videos) were mini-events in themselves. Complemented by impressive, sometimes surprisingly spectral production, Bhad Bhabie's debut mixtape is lit from start to finish, complete with a spectacular confessional outro lasting over 6 minutes. 15 good tracks, 15 years old - it's a success for young Danielle.
