Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)
This album is rated in the top 8% of all albums on BestEverAlbums.com. This album has a Bayesian average rating of 75.2/100, a mean average of 74.8/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 75.8/100. The standard deviation for this album is 13.1.

Didn't think Lupe had it in him to make an album that's so long yet still consistent, but hats off to him, he pulled it off. I like every song apart from XO.
Check out the LongChain concept behind this album. The premise revolves around a sunken slave ship that crashes and the slaves live free lives underwater, hence slaves=waves. The production on a lot of songs has a crazy aquatic vibe and Lupe bounces off the beats effortlessly incorporating some of his sharpest wordplay - littered with double entendre, analogy, and structural patters. It hasn't been out long but already my favorite Lupe project and maybe one of my favorite concept albums ever.
Fav traxxx: Jonylah Forever, Happy Timbuk2 Day, God vs. The Right Thing to Do, Mural Jr., Alan Forever

His best albums since Lasers, but it's not without it's flaws. First off, it's too long and the second half is superior to the first half of the album. If he cut off the first half of the album and made it 12 songs long, this would be a stronger album.I go back and forth between Lasers and The Cool for which is my fav album of his, but as of today my rank goes like this:
Lasers > The Cool > Food & Liquor > Drogas Wave > Drogos Light > Tetsuo & Youth > Food & Liquor 2
