Great record. If you're looking for a chill vibe, a change from the gangsta and hardcore hip hop, but a slightly more polished sound than the 90s conscious Hip Hop, CYNE this record will give you that. Notable songs: First Person, Samurai's Optic, Steady.
Solid for a debut, but I have to say that even though it holds some of CYNE's classic tracks, the album has some very simplified beats and some of my favorite tracks are only included on the Deluxe version that was released sometime in the late 2010s.
They remediate this on Evolution Fight where they begin using live instruments. Which is why though most fans would say Time Being is their best, I always say Evolution Fight. I get more of an album experience from that one.
