I wouldn't class myself as a Country Joe and the Fish Fan and I bought this album because this band was listed along with other psychedelic pioneers like Jefferson Airplane, Kaliedescope and Quicksilver Messenger Service. I do like the really psychedelic stuff and am less keen on the 'country' but I bet they were a hell of an act live. There are not many bands that list a washboard and washtub bass in their instrument list these days! I have to be in the right mood to listen to this but when I am I do enjoy it. 'Grace' is the standout for me with it's eerie sound effects and spacial pschedelic mood, the water literally sounds as if it is dripping through my ceiling!
