Aïsha Devi’s journey as an artist is incredibly poetic, operating as ersatz electro-pop artist Kate Wax until the early 2010s when she got in touch with her Tibetan roots, “killed off” the persona during a Saharan meditation and began making post-human electronica under her own name. This latest effort is a work of sonic cinema, airy and clinical yet still rather charming.
