His best album since Coles Corner. I love the hard rocking of songs like “Is There a Pill?” That gives this album an edge that is often missing on some of his softer sounding releases.

I only listened to this album now and on the first track I thought I was mistaken and listened to the latest Mark Lanegan record. But I must say I like his more potent songs as much as his crooners: good album.
Nice record as usual, and as usual underrated.
Beautiful melodies and stunning production.
In my personal top 50 records of the year.
I was quite disappointed on first listen thinking it was all a bit throwaway but it really grew on me and now I really like it. Nice to hear Richard rocking out on a few numbers too. Good.
