Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)
This album has a Bayesian average rating of 69.7/100, a mean average of 68.0/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 69.1/100. The standard deviation for this album is 15.9.

Shortlisted for album of the year at the Grammys in 2000. The Winner was Supernatural by Santana (Edited)
Bem fofo, muito talentosas... E o toquesinho bluegrass fez a diferença!
I liked this somewhat more by the end than I thought I would based on how I felt at the midpoint.
Good country/country pop album. Best 10 songs average is 80,2/100 and the album can get good 80/100. Best song is "Cowboy take me away" 85/100, followed by "Ready to run", "If I fall...", "Cold day in july", "Goodbye earl" and "Some days you..." all 80/100.
The Dixie Chicks best album was released in 1999, highlighted by "Ready to Run," "If I Fall.." and their best song, "Goodbye Earl." If you ask me, Earl had it coming. But now I'm nervous every time I'm served black-eyed peas.
This could have been much better if it wasn't for a few stinkers like "Cold Day in July" "Don't Waste Your Heart" and "Hole in my Head."
