One of my favourite metal albums. I was so surprised at the amount depth this album has in it's lyrics. White Pearls, Black Oceans.. is one of the most beautiful sad songs i've ever heard ! Good stuff. Sonata Artica is a wonderful band and this is their best album.
Fantastic power metal album and the best Sonata Artica album, so full of emotion, great melodies and the bands best lyrics and storytelling.. the band just kills it here and Tony Kakko is soo good. There's just something magical about this one. Love it !
Don't Say a Word and My Selene, two of the band's best songs, and White Pearl, Black Oceans is their opus magnus.
Pretty impressive album. I like the guitars and the vocals. Has a sort of computer game soundtrack thing going on. Best song would probably be Reckoning Day, Reckoning Night.
