What an insanely crushing and technical record. It sounds chaotic and certainly is technical, but it doesn't feel too calculated to the point where it feels cold. Everything is tight, but it's a bit breathable so that you can feel the space in between the instruments. This is my introduction to Nile and it was a tremendous experience. Really brutal technical death metal.
