Poliça's newest album is a powerful and haunting album. Channy Leaneagh suffered from an accident in 2018 that severely damaged her spine and left her immobilized for months, and this album is a reflection of that time. It is a dark meditation of existence and isolation, motherhood and partnership. The static and droning nature of the album is a powerful tonal choice that matches the context of her powerful lyrics. Forget Me Not is one of the best tracks this year.

First purchased album of 2020! Love Poliça just wish they got more praise on this site but it doesn't really matter cuz I'm going to like them either way. After listening to Driving and watching it's weird and spooky music video I just knew they were putting out another solid album.
